MQF Level 1
This training course touches on most aspects of health and safety in construction. It covers construction safety and health management, risk assessment, planning for safety , and the safe use of construction plant and equipment, electricity and other services.
Entry Requirements: Basic Level of English, Basic knowledge of computer use, Basic numerical skills, Minimum age of 18, knowledge of procedures on construction sites.
This training course has been designed to give participants both the theoretical and practical knowledge and awareness of height specific hazards.

This programme provides participants with knowledge, skills and solid training in the theories and practices of occupational health and safety.

This course handles the various hazards that personal protective equipment is designed to protect the worker from and outlines the various pieces of personal protective equipment.

MQF Level 2
Compressed air used in the workplace can be very dangerous if the necessary precautions are not taken. This course provides knowledge and skills on all types of hazards relating to the use of compressed air machinery and on the safety procedures at workplace.
Entry Requirements: Basic Level of English, Basic knowledge of computer use, Basic numerical skills, Basic knowledge/experience in compressed air machinery.
This course is designed for those workers who need to work on electrical equipment who either have no electrical qualifications or need a reminder of electrical dangers and safe working practices.

This course provides knowledge and skills on electrical hazards, on the functioning of electrical machinery and on the safety procedures to use at workplace.

The course is designed to provide scaffolders, beginners, hirers of scaffolding or self-employed scaffolders with the knowledge and awareness of hazards of scaffolding at construction site and how to improve workplace safety.
Entry Requirements: Basic Level of English, Basic knowledge of computer use, Basic numerical skills, Minimum age of 18, Basic knowledge and experience in scaffolding.
This course is meant to provide the learner with occupational health and safety working practices; acquire knowledge to be able to assist in the identification of systems, equipment and components; develop knowledge and skills to be able to assist in reading of drawings and calculations with approved procedures and under supervision; and to be knowledgeable and have the skill of assisting in the laying of limestone and hollow concrete blocks to line.
Entry Requirements: School leaving certificate, certificate of attendance or a minimum of 5 years work experience.
Participants will acquire knowledge about safe diving practices to be adopted in operations in which persons are employed to work underwater. Participants will acquire carried out on, adjacent to or over water and underwater types of work in a marine environment, for land-based construction work competencies about safe marine and diving works and related supporting safe work practices conducted in connection with all related works.

This course is specifically designed for all personnel who are required to operate a cherry picker as part of their work and aims to provide them with a thorough understanding with the relevant operational and safety requirements.

The objective of this training course is to impress upon the participants the necessity for safety in all aspects of earth moving heavy equipment operations and procedures. The training programme is based on the latest equipment safety standards and manufacturers’ requirements.

After this course participants will acquire skills about maintenance, safe work practices and load calculation techniques that apply to use of lifting equipment.

This course is designed to raise awareness on fire hazards and train participants on how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation.

This course provides participants with a solid foundation in first aid with an emphasis on prevention, practical skills, decision making and dealing with environmental conditions.

Aimed at providing the learner with knowledge, skills and competences required to provide first aid for kids. Through this training programme, the participants will be able to know how to cope with an emergency involving a child and understand different procedures for treatment for children ages 0-8 years.

This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and confidence to meet the requirements of the guidelines and regulations, relating to the management of the safety of the workplace and the documentation required.

MQF Level 3
This course is meant to provide the learner with the working practices and acquire the competence to be able to work and take responsibility for completion of tasks with all the recommended safety precautions in the building and construction sector. Learners will be able to develop further knowledge and skills to to be able to read drawings and carry out calculations.
Entry Requirements: Be of the legal age of 18 have at least six months experience as an assistant concreter and possess a Concreter award at MQF Level 2 or a similar relevant award at MQF level 2 in Building and Construction or a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the building and construction sector as an assistant concreter, assisting superiors with a portfolio of evidence.
This course is meant to provide the learner with occupational health and safety working practices and acquire the competence to be able to operate small mobile plants in the building and construction sector. The candidate shall be able to use further knowledge and skills to operate effectively under supervision using small mobile plant equipment on construction sites for demolition.
Candidates must be 21years of age and are in possession of a relevant MQF Level 2 accredited award in demolition building and construction sector. Candidates must have a valid license DEM33 to operate both small and heavy mobile plant equipment for demolition building and construction. A proficiency numerical and literacy skills test may also be required.
This course is meant to provide the learner with occupational health and safety working practices and acquire the competence to be able to operate small mobile plants in the building and construction sector. The candidate shall be able to use further knowledge and skills to operate effectively under supervision using small mobile plant equipment on construction sites for demolition.
Entry Requirements: Candidates must be 21years of age and are in possession of a relevant MQF Level 2 accredited award in demolition building and construction sector. Candidates must have a valid license DEM33 to operate both small and heavy mobile plant equipment for demolition building and construction. A proficiency numerical and literacy skills test may also be required

Entry Requirements: Candidates who are in possession of a relevant MQF Level 2 accredited award in excavation works in the building and construction sector. A basic proficiency numerical and literacy skills test may also be required.
This course is meant to provide the learner with occupational health and safety working practices; acquire knowledge to be able to the identification of systems, equipment and components; develop knowledge and skills to be able in reading of drawings and calculations with approved procedures and under supervision; and to be knowledgeable and have the skill in the laying of limestone and hollow concrete blocks to line.
Entry Requirements: School leaving certificate, attendance certificate or a minimum of 5 years work experience.
MQF Level 4
Course is meant to provide the learner with OHS supervision of working practices and will lead to the learner to acquire the competences to be able to operate portable powered and mobile plant equipment in the building and construction sector.
Entry Requirements: Candidates must be 21 years of age and in possession of a relevant MQF Level 3 accredited award in excavation in the building and construction sector. Must have a valid license to operate mobile plant equipment used for excavation.
This course is meant to provide the learner with the OHS legal requirements; acquire knowledge to be able to identify, monitor and control site hazards; develop knowledge and skills in safe work practices and promote a safety culture.
Entry Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience including:
• Basic level of English (reading, understanding and spoken English)
• Basic knowledge of computer for research (MS Word and Internet Browsing)
• Basic numerical skills
• Ability to use grammar and language appropriately and the ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Knowledge of work procedures in construction sites
This course is primarily aimed at promoting a positive and effective health and safety culture and will bring out the importance of establishing such a culture within a school / learning environment.
Entry Requirements: O’ Level standard of education. O’ level standard of English language. Knowledge in the use of computers and the internet. ECDL certified, Numerical Skills – Secondary certificate in Mathematics.
